    • Billing information that you provide us, such as credit card information, or that we receive from a health plan, employer or other provider of healthcare benefits on your behalf
    • Information about the computer or mobile device you are using, such as what Internet browser you use, the kind of computer or mobile device you use, and other information about how you use the website and apps.
    • Other information you input into the website and apps or related services.

    Healthcare Professionals

    These are Professionals who deliver health care services through Clinicalls. We may group them within a group of independently owned professional collectively known as "Clinicalls Professionals".

    Clinicalls Professionals are health practitioners qualified and certified to provide health services and related services as the case may be and who have signed up with Clinicalls platforms, using the website or apps to provide these services to patients and other users.

    This section of our Privacy Policy describes how the Health Professionals using Clinicalls platforms (and My Clinicalls Limited as a health platform) may use and disclose health information about you and how you can access this information. Please review it carefully.

    Participating Provider

    Any lab scientist, radiologist, laboratory, doctor, therapist, nurse, pharmacy, hospital, massage centre, Ambulance service provider or other entity or individual involved in the delivery of healthcare or ancillary services who or which has entered into and continues to have a current valid contract with Clinicalls to provide Covered Services to patients/users.

    Confidential Information

    Shall mean any information, records, test sample, data or materials that identifies a user/patient and is related to the user’s participation under the platforms, the user’s basic and vital information, test results, the user’s physical or mental health condition, medical history, the provision of test and diagnostic services to the user/patient or payment for the provision for provision of medical service to the patient. The user/patient’s contact details and any information that may reveal the identity of the patient/user. Confidential information includes Clinicalls business plans, trade secrets, projections and strategies etc.

    User/Patient Records

    Patient record includes private, confidential information, test results, and other information related and relevant for patient identity and individuality. All participating labs and diagnostic centres shall make sure only authorized and qualified personnel within the medical profession working within the institution engage in patient sample collection, testing, uploading of test results and are authorized to be exposed to patients’ medical records.

    Covered Services

    In this agreement, covered services are services rendered by a participating health providers to its customers and patients, for which a user/patient on Clinicalls platform is entitled to receive from health care services from participating health provider according to the Clinicalls terms and conditions and participating provider’s referral agreement with Clinicalls.

    Apps and Website

    An app (otherwise known as Application) is a downloadable piece of software that can run online or offline on a computer, smartphone, tablet, or other electronic devices, including smart TVs and smart watches. Clinicalls Apps are either android or iOS, or any other format in the name “Clinicalls” officially released by My Clinicalls Limited on Google Playstore, Apple Apps store and/or other app stores.

    A website is a collection of related web pages, including multimedia content, typically identified with a common domain name, and published on at least one web server. Clinicalls website includewww.clinicalls.comwww.clinicalls.ng www.clinicalls.net www.clinicalls.com.ngwww.clinicalls.org and or any other domain owned and managed by My Clinicalls Limited.

  2. Covered Services

    In this agreement, covered services are services rendered by a participating health providers to its customers and patients, for which a user/patient on Clinicalls platform is entitled to receive from health care services from participating health provider according to the Clinicalls terms and conditions and participating provider’s referral agreement with Clinicalls.

  3. How Patient Privacy Is Protected

    Clinicalls understands the significance of Privacy and Privacy Rights of users in the philosophy of our business. That is why we are very keen in ensuring that our policy is designed to ensure that healthcare professionals using the Clinicalls platforms to attend to patients and other users adequately meet this duty.

    The healthcare professionals providing online medical and clinical services through Clinicalls (the "Healthcare Professionals", "us", "we", "our"), guarantee that they understand that information about patients and other users is personal. Providers ensure they strive to maintain the confidentiality of patient/user personal and health information as Clinicalls partner with them to continuously seek to safeguard that information through administrative, physical and technical means, and otherwise abide by applicable federal and state laws and regulations.

    While Clinicalls continues to assure our esteemed users of their privacy, we wish to state at the outset that the Privacy Policy of Clinicalls applies exclusively to the use of services on any of our various platforms and does not extend to the websites, apps and other platforms of our participating providers, associates and business allies. However we reassure our users that this policy is part of the stringent agreement Clinicalls entered with participating providers on Clinicalls platforms, which shall not be breached.

    Upon a user’s registration with us, Clinicalls finds itself beings custodian of sorts of the user’s personal information. This information includes personal data, contact information, medical history, name and information of Healthcare Providers etc. Apart from the information you give to us through the use of our services, you hereby permit us to get your personal information through third party sources, in such situations it might be necessary to enable us provide health services to you. Note that while it may be possible for you to access and use some of our Services without disclosing some of these personal information to us, some aspects of the Services that demands these Personal information will definitely be available to you.

  4. Billing And Payment Information

    When you make a payment through our Services to us for any of our services to you or user linked to you, your payment card information is processed by our payment processing partners Paystack and other payment platforms Clinicalls may use. While using the Clinicalls website and apps, the payment platform collects your payment card information necessary to process your payment. On its part, Paystack’s and other payment partner’s usage and storage of information it collects is governed by Paystack’s or other payment partner’s applicable terms of service and Privacy Policy. The payment module will redirect the customer to the vendor (Payment partner) website or app to collect payment information. Payment details are not stored on our site or apps.

  5. Use Of Information

    We use your information including Personal and Health Information to provide Services to you and to help improve them. We do this by:

    • Keeping record of the personal and health information you provide us. This health and personal information may include your test results, diagnoses, medications, your response to medications or other therapies, and information we learn about your medical condition through other participating health providers. We may disclose this information so that other doctors, laboratories, pharmacies, nurses, and entities who are working with us can meet your healthcare needs.
    • Notifying you about certain resources or Healthcare Provider(s) we feel may be of assistance to you.
    • Sending you information about Clinicalls or our products and services.
    • Providing you with the products, services and information you may request and to respond to correspondence.
    • Providing, administering and expanding the Services, performing business analyses, and for other internal purposes, to support, improve and enhance our services etc.
    • Reminding you of upcoming appointments.
    • Sending push notifications, e-mails and other communications that display Contents which in our opinion will be of interest to you.
    • Providing security, crime-prevention and investigative purposes.
  6. Disclosure Of Information

    Notwithstanding our duty to protect and keep your Personal Information confidential, we may disclose such information in the following permissible circumstances to wit:

    All other uses and disclosures, not previously described, may only be done with your written authorization. We will also obtain your authorization before we use or disclose your health information for marketing purposes. You may revoke your authorization at any time; however, this will not affect prior uses and disclosures.

    • Disclosure to your Healthcare Providers with whom you have an appointment through the Service.
    • Disclose to other third parties with whom we do business, such as a record storage provider. However, you should know that in situations of paragraph (a) & (b), we require third parties to provide us with assurances that they will safeguard your information.
    • Disclosure in an emergency especially for the purposes of saving your life.
    • Disclosure to improve the services we provide, to train staff, for business management, quality assessment and improvement, and for customer service.
    • Disclosure to our business partners to enable them customize Clinicalls’ core operational services like website analysis, billing, security, data storage etc.
    • Disclosure by virtue of a statutory requirement or court order, subpoenas or to comply or enforce an agreement with you.
    • Disclosure where it is reasonably necessary. We may also use your health information to:
    • Comply with federal, state or local government laws that require disclosure.
    • Assist in public health activities such as tracking diseases or medical devices.

    The security of your Personal and Health Information is important to us and as a result we work to adhere to generally accepted industry standards to safeguard the personal and information stored on Clinicalls platforms.

    The information you provide on Clinicalls platforms are stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our website and Apps, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential and we shall not be responsible for an breach thereof resulting from misuse of the password. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

    Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure.     THE CLINICALLS WEBSITE AND APPS WILL BE COLLECTING AND TRANSMITTING PERSONAL, MEDICAL AND HEALTH-RELATED INFORMATION ABOUT YOU. BY USING CLINICALLS’ WEBSITE AND APPS, YOU AGREE THAT WE CAN COLLECT AND USE YOUR PERSONAL AND OTHER INFORMATION AS DESCRIBED IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, PLEASE DO NOT USE CLINICALLS’ WEBSITE AND APPS. YOU ALSO AGREE FOR OUR PARTICIPATING HEALTH PROVIDERS TO DO SO IN LINE WITH CLINICALLS TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

  9. Controlling & Modifying Your Personal And Health Information

    If you are a registered user of the Services, you can modify some of the Personal and Health Information you have included in your profile or change your username by logging in and accessing your account. In case your account data is lost, stolen or used without your permission, you must notify us immediately. If you wish to close your account, you may notify us via info@clinicalls.com to have your account deleted or closed. Clinicalls however reserves the right to retain information from deleted or closed accounts for several reasons, including to: comply with relevant laws, prevent fraud, carry out a research, resolve disputes, enforce the Agreement and take other actions permitted by law.

  10. Information By Or On Behalf Of Children Under Age 18

    Clinicalls do not knowingly allow individuals under the age of 18 to create Accounts that allow access to our Website and Apps. Infants and children under 18 can only use our Services through and with supervision of an adult guardian or parent registered on our platform and in circumstances stated in our Terms and Conditions of use. As a result, Clincalls does not directly collect information from children and minors. Therefore, by submitting information to us, you represent that you are not a child or infant. Any account created by or information received directly by these categories of people, upon discovery of this by Clinicalls, will be swiftly deleted. Any Personal or Health Information of a child or minor provided to us by the parent or guardian of such a child or infant which is in accordance with our Terms and Condition of use will be treated as Personal and Health Information for all purposes.

    Clinicalls Services may contain links to third party websites and Apps with which Clinicalls has no affiliation. A link to a non-Clinicalls website or App does not mean that we endorse the website or App, the quality or accuracy of information presented on it or the persons or entities associated with the website or app. If you decide to visit a third party website or app, you may be subject to the Privacy Policy of the third party website or app as applicable and we are not responsible for the policies and practices of the third party website and apps.
